Villa Filakia

walk around

Kefalonia , one of the jewels of the Ionian Sea

Ideally located in the south, the villa Filakia will allow you to discover all the wealth and wonders of Kefalonia, a land of contrasts, an island of natural beauty and lush flora.
Attracted by its golden beaches and crystal clear waters, you will not miss the sublime beaches of Mounda/Kaminia and Skala, just a short distance from the villa. Further away by car, you will be charmed by the beauty of the beaches of Myrtos, Antisamos, Pefani or Fteri.

Mounda beach

If you like sports and thrills, you will love to explore the paths of the national park of Mount Ainos, which rises to 1628m, to walk along the coastline on the many footpaths, to snorkel and discover the aquatic flora of the small wild creeks, to practice kitesurfing on the beach of Mounda or to discover one of the 80 beaches of the island by paddle.

In search of its cultural heritage, you will go to the fortress of Saint George, discover the orthodox rites at the monastery of Saint Gerasimos (the patron saint of the island), have lunch in the colourful and timeless village of Assos, seek the coolness of the caves of Melissani and Drogaratis, stroll through cosmopolitan Fiscardo or daydream in the numerous picturesque villages.
